Institut Teknologi Dirgantara Adisutjipto (ITD Adisutjipto) welcomed a delegation from the Directorate of Research, Technology, and Innovation Policy Formulation, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) on Friday, July 24, 2026. The visit was part of a data acquisition and technical discussion aimed at supporting the formulation of regulations and policies on Indonesia's space technology development, particularly in the field of rocket technology.

The program included opening remarks, a presentation by the BRIN team on its policy study, an institutional presentation by ITD Adisutjipto, technical discussions, and a tour of ITD Adisutjipto's laboratories and academic facilities.

During the discussion, ITD Adisutjipto shared its expertise and best practices in aerospace technology development, including Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), rocket technology, the implementation of safety culture, and human resource development through its aerospace-oriented curriculum and education system. The insights provided by ITD Adisutjipto are expected to contribute to the development of future regulations, human resource competencies, and governance for Indonesia's national space technology ecosystem.
