Yogyakarta - As many as 39 Decree for the Functional Position of the Assistant Professor were handed over to lecturers of the Higher Education Institutions within the Higher Education Services Institution Region V of Yogyakarta from a total of 74 Decree submitted. The position with the last master's education is the initial position for lecturers, both the Civil Servant lecturers and foundation lecturers, with a minimum of having implemented the “Tridharma” of the Higher Education, educating and teaching, researching and community servicing, for approximately two years since the first appointment as a lecturer. In addition to 39 Assistant Professor Decree with 150 cumulative point, the Assistant Professor Decree positions with details of the Assistant Professor Decree 200 cumulative point as many as 22 Decree and the Assistant Professor Decree 300 cumulative point as many as 13 Decree were also submitted in the ceremony.
The Decree submission ceremony which was held on Friday 28th February 2020 presented the Institution Head, Prof. Dr. Didi Achjari, M.Com., Akt., accompanied by Bhimo Widyo Andoko, S.H., M.H. as the Institute Secretary. The Decree submission that was held in the Main Meeting Room of LLDIKTI Region V was submitted directly by the Institution Head as a form of appreciation for lecturers in the framework of implementing the “Tridharma” of the Higher Education. In this case, LLDIKTI Region V as an institution that provides services to all stakeholders, especially to the private universities in the province D.I. Yogyakarta, it is actualized in the form of granting facilities for proposing an increase in the academic functional position that begins filing proposals, assessing and evaluating in Credit Score Assessment (PAK) sessions, until the issuance of functional Decree following its Decree awarding ceremony.
In her speech, the General Head Division of the LLDIKTI Region V, Dra. Suci Mumpuni, M.Sc. reminded that for the recipients of the initial office Decree to immediately prepare themselves to participate the lecturer certification selection in 2020. The selection is made by submitting the “Inpassing” Decree in advance with the provisions that the Assistant Professor with Master Education is equal in the ranks and categories of “Penata Mudah Tk I, III/b. Meanwhile, the Assistant Professor with the latest doctoral education is equal in the ranks and categories of “Penata, III/c”. The document was first updated in the Integrated Resource Information System (SISTER) application so that it was declared eligible to take part in the lecturer certification selection.
"We facilitate all of you to accelerate your career, but all return to each of them," said the Institution Head in his speech. This means that LLDIKTI Region V facilitates and provides support to all lecturers under its aegis to improve quality and competence in order to accelerate his career. However, it all depends on the person concerned whether to use the facility or let it pass because it is a choice. As a quote "It is not our abilities that show what we truly are. It is our choices ".
On that occasion, the Institution Head also approached all lecturers related to issues that were obstacles in the proposed promotion. "We want to know the constraints of the ladies and gentlemen to propose a position even though the conditions are not difficult, especially for the initial position which is still dominating," he said. This means that LLDIKTI Region V is always ready to try to provide the best services related to the constraints of the proposed promotion and try to minimize these obstacles so that the proposal process will be more effective and efficient.
